When we call ourselves a “real Montana brand”, we mean two things:

First, we are an actual cattle brand registered with the Montana Department of Livestock. 

Beyond the brand itself, we believe to be considered a real Montana brand a company should:

Originate in Montana: The brand would have its roots in Montana, understanding the local culture, values, and way of life.

Reflect Montana Values: This includes a commitment to community, a love for the outdoors, and a sense of rugged independence.

Contribute to the Local Economy: Employing local residents and contributing to the economic well-being of the community.

Engage with the Community: Being involved in local events, supporting local causes, and being a recognizable presence in the community.

Showcase Montana’s Unique Characteristics: This could be through the products they sell, the services they offer, or the way they market and present themselves.
